Who We Are

America: Her People, Her Stories is a new series of documentaries, designed to teach history in a positive and intriguing way. These dvds will cover major battles in the history of our country, through dramatic reenactments and compelling imagery. We seek to show America in a positive light, that brings history alive and makes the younger generation proud to be American. Our intention is to show children the uniqueness of America and the truths on which the founding fathers built our nation.

The Battle of Bunker Hill is the first film in the series, as it was the first major military engagement of the American Revolution. Our story follows two fathers and two sons as they fight to defend Breeds and Bunker Hill. The documentary elements are combined with a story and plot to bring the history alive. This creates a "docu-drama" that brings in all the historical aspects and facts, while keeping the viewer interested. On each dvd, we wish to include a Great Presidential Moment, in addition to the documentary. For our first film, we chose President Reagan's Farewell Address which was graciously given to us from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.  (for more information see http://www.bunkerhilldvd.com/)

We are a self-distributing company, so we don't have to "adjust" our content to please other people. The history is taught as it should be: factual, interesting, and compelling. "We should teach history not by what's in fashion, but what's important." Having taken an innovative approach to teaching history, we hope that the whole family can enjoy watching movies about the heroes that helped shape our country.
