- Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Tony Malanowski has loved large scale historical movies ever since seeing John Wayne's THE ALAMO. AMERICA: HER PEOPLE, HER STORIES is the fulfillment of a dream starting in that dark movie theater. After making short films with friends and gaining experience, Tony made the move to Southern California. Working for major studios, such as Walt Disney and Sony Pictures, Tony gained experience that has allowed him to return to the director's chair and create THE BATTLE OF BUNKER HILL.
